Controller parts
« on: March 05, 2017, 01:08:30 PM »
It seems as though the controller resistor/rheostat for vibration is worn out. The housing is tight to the plastic box,but the shaft moves in and out, causing random dead spots.
It is stamped "026-AF 2627 0339". Doing a google search, and an amazon search yields no firm results.
Anyone know the equivalent Jameco part #, or actual wattage/Volts/ ohms for this part?
Thanks in advance!

Don't know if you got your answer but if it is a standard photometer measure the max resistance then try Newark or one of the other electronic suppliers.  You may need to guess the wattage that is required but in this case bigger is better.

In another forum post, I found out  Penta Power drives are used for the motors.
https://www.galco.com/techdoc/kb/kbic-120_dat.pdf  is a link to GALCO, an industrial control supplier.

This PDF shows that the pot value to be 5K ohms.
